WBAI & Amsterdam News cover Con Edison protest

As the on-bill recovery legislation — crucial for implementation of Green Jobs/Green NY — makes its way through Albany, Con Edison and other utilities are trying to block it.

On June 22nd, the Center for Working Families was joined by the Laborers Local 10, the Hunger Action Network, Make the Road NY, NY Communities for Change, Envirolution and Sustainable South Bronx for a spirited demonstration in front of Con Edison’s Manhattan HQ.

Check out coverage in the Amsterdam News and on WBAI.
