The Center for Working Families began as a project of the Progressive America Fund in 2006, but quickly became Progressive America Fund’s main focus and now is its sole activity.
Progressive America Fund’s other main activity was the National Open Ballot Project, which promoted “fusion voting” (allowing political parties to cross-endorse candidates) throughout the United States. For more information on fusion voting, click here.
