NYS Communications Boot Camp – Oct. 2011
On October 3rd and 4th, over a hundred New Yorkers from across the state — organizers, community leaders, students, advocates and policy experts — came together in Albany for a two day boot camp on communications strategies, progressive taxation and the millionaires tax.
The event was organized by the New Deal for New York, ALIGN: The Alliance for a Greater New York and the Center for Working Families. Nationally recognized messaging experts from Demos, Spitfire Strategies and the Center for Social Inclusion conducted workshops and presentations. The event was generously funded by the Ford Foundation.
